Quartered

It’s been one week since working my last day at Tecmo Koei; our goodbyes were over music, drinks, food and conversation. Nearly the entire team showed up for the event, and ironically, I felt we were closer together in departing than we ever were working side-by-side. While there is sadness in that, I couldn’t have been more proud to work with such a talented group.

To all the former Tecmo Koei employees, I wish you the very best and I ask only that you continue to press on towards your goals. I look forward to what all of you create next.

This song is one I’ve been working on for about two months. It’s a bit scatter brained, but that’s fine with me. This song is for my social game idea called Quartered (I’ve been told that social games are all the rage now a days).

You are this robotic fellow, not actually a robot (I think) but due to technical constraints you’re sort of a mess, and you must submit your wife’s immigration papers. The problem is that the immigration office is a massive, dishevelled complex where to get from one room to another you either have to solve some test of your psychology or you must pay 25 cents.

The idea is to submit your papers (filled out correctly) while getting swindled out of as little money as possible in the process. Oh yeah, the game asks for your real money, so you better be real careful.
