Dear fellow world observers,
You probably assumed that after my last post ended with, “Please support your fellow, soon-to-be starving, sacks of skin and bones artists by pretending that you give a damn!” that it wouldn’t be long before I started asking for money.
You are very perceptive!
Please check out Jason and my Kickstarter page for our game Hey, Shu!
Now, for those of you who don’t know, Kickstarter offers a way for artists to fundraise for their creative projects. After signing up you can easily donate to any project you wish. In return for donations, projects offer rewards. Sort of like Jump Rope for Heart. Unfortunately, however, we are not offering a basketball or cool backpack.
Now, games are very personal. People’s preferences for games are diverse and Hey, Shu! is not going to appeal to everyone, but we believe that our game has a wide enough audience to reach our funding goal.
Please help us spread the word. It could be someone in your family, one of your friends, or one of your friend’s friends who is genuinely interested in supporting this project, and every little donation makes a big difference for us. Please share this post with those you love, and those you sort of like all the same.
And for the skeptical parents out there, Hey, Shu! is a wholesome experience. It is about bringing life back to a barren planet by growing a garden and creating a balanced ecosystem. It is relaxing and calm and it is very unlikely to rot your mind. Shouldn’t there be more games like that?
If you have any questions at all about our game or just want to talk don’t hesitate to send me a message.
Thank you all very much for your support!
